The cost of private flight is prohibitive for all but the most senior executives and the wealthiest individuals, with flight costs being many times more that of a business class tickets on commercial aircraft.JetBird promises to change that.
They plan to purchase up to 100 Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft, a plane that offers similar cabin space and range to many existing, more expensive, private jets. Through scale and new aircraft technologies, JetBird will provide true low fare private airline travel, providing the benefits of private aircraft travel at approximately half the cost of larger branded competitors.
The Dublin based company will appeal to customers of high-cost alternatives, while creating an entirely new experience for those whose time is valuable but, for whom, such travel was previously not affordable. Commencing operations in 2009, JetBird will become Europe’s first true low cost private jet operation.
When they start flying in early 2009, you will be able to book over the internet, by phone, or through your travel agent or corporate travel department. You will also be able to block book hours in advance at a discount.

No pre-ordained take-off and landing times - operating to your schedule. If you are stuck in traffic or held up in meeting they will wait for you. After arriving at your jet you can be airborne in 12mins. They also facilitate multi-stop trips

JetBird will have hubs in key European centre's making it easy to fly point to point at short notice. This will eliminate transfers and/or connecting flights.
Stress-Free Travel
JetBird will by-pass the large congested commercial terminals and fly into smaller, less congested airports. Flying JetBird will remove check-in and boarding queues as it’s your jet with only you and your party on board. This will also mean no more lost luggage.
Security
Major airports have increased security and congestion concerns, while at JetBird you are pre-screened for additional security which also means no delay at the airport. As a JetBird customer you purchase the entire jet and can therefore fly only with those you know. JetBird additionally allows privacy and security for high profile passengers / VIPs
Concierge Service
JetBird puts you in touch with thier partners who can take care of car transfers, hotels, hard to find event tickets and restaurant reservations, after which they can then deliver you to your jet.
