Linear Air's current fleet of aircraft is composed of Cessna Grand Caravans, and Eclipse 500 Jets. The Cessna Grand Caravan is a single-engine propeller aircraft. It is the plane of choice throughout Africa and other remote locations due to its reliability and ruggedness to land on unpaved runways. It has executive designed cabins that are equipped with eight leather passenger seats and plenty of room. The Eclipse 500 is a modern, fuel efficient VLJ, that has richly appointed interiors, and two turbo fan engines. Check out out Eclipse 500 page to learn more about this aircraft.
Unlike other would-be Air Taxi companies, Linear Air did not wait for Very Light Jet aircraft to hit the market when they first announced their operations in May 2004. WIth a $1M first round of funding, they launched a per-seat service immediately with the prop driven Cessna Grand Caravan and began servicing air charter flights from Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA.
Linear Air delivers an efficient air travel option by providing point-to-point Air Taxi services from small community airports, thus allowing travelers to escape from the hassles of commercial airline terminals and airport parking.
