The formation of POGO Jet Air Taxi Company was first announced in late 2004 and over the last few years it has met with great fanfare and press. One of the many reasons that POGO received much attention was due to their September 2005 announcement that retired American Airlines Chairman and CEO Robert Crandall was joining POGO. As Chief Executive Officer, Robert Crandall certainly provides POGO with the kind of market validity that attracts investors. However, since Mr. Crandall’s announcement there has not been much news and when you go to thier website it says "POGO plans to commence operations in early 2009 upon the receipt of government approvals".

POGO Air Taxi company has positioned itself as a next-generation air transportation service that will utilize the latest jet aircraft, such as very light jets, to deliver passengers point to point from some of the 5,000 small community airports throughout the US. We have not located any announcements of equity financing deals or aircraft orders, so it is difficult to determine how far along POGO is in developing their Air Taxi service.
As of July 2007, we report that POGO is advertising their website via AdWords, but the latest news posts on their website are from February of 2006. In addition, their contact page says to allow 7 days for a response to inquiries.
