Personal Light Jets

Riding the wake of the VLJ buzz are the new personal light jets (PLJs) that are single engine jets looking to make a big splash within the next four years. The primary benefit of these sleek jets will be their speed or the turboprop planes, access to smaller airports, and fuel efficiency. The PLJ aircraft are attracting the leading turboprop manufacturers to the jet race. Companies like Piper, Cirrus, and Diamond have announced proof-of-concept jet aircraft. All of the PLJ aircraft are currently in development phase and they are expected to hit the market by 2008.
