The Boeing Business Jet, or BBJ, is a derivative of the Boeing 737-700 commercial aircraft and delivers the most spacious business jets in the market. The BBJ business unit is a joint venture operation with The Boeing Company and General Electronic Co., with Boeing handling the daily operations, sales and marketing and GE providing the jet engines, support and service.
The first BBJ aircraft was delivered in November of 1998 and since that time there have 81 other BBJ aircraft delivered. The BBJ aircraft line has been expacted in recent years to include the BBJ2, BBJ3, and most recently the VIP Aircraft lineup that includes the VIP 747, VIP 777, and VIP 787. |
