Jet Cards

What's a Jet Card?

I'm sure we're all familiar with pre-paid phones and phone cards. Just as the pre-paid phone card entitles you to so many minutes of talking time, a Jet Card is similar in that your card entitles you to several occupied flight hours.  Occupied flight hours is the time you're actually in the aircraft flying, and not the hours the plane is waiting on the ground, or the time the pilot uses to get back to base. The cards are sold  with different  20, 25, 30 and 35 hour options, depending on the provider

There is usually  a choice of aircraft to use per flight which impacts the rate of a given flight. As you fly, your flight hours are debited from the prepaid amount at an agreed rate for the type of plane you're flying in.

Many companies provide a ground service that provides land transportation to and from the airport, personalized meals, etc. Jet card members can book aircraft 24x7, but some may have restrictions on the days on which you can fly. Many will book you with only 10 hours notice, others with 12.
